Do most Japanese cell phones only have kanji on the buttons? I know hiragana and I'm learning katakana, but will I still be able to text message and all?

All the Japanese phones I see have letters as well as numbers and kana – for example, I’ll describe one key on mine – a large digit ‘2′, and next to it a small hiragana ‘ka’ (so if texting you’d scroll through ‘ka ki ku ke ko’) and the roman letters ABC.
All the major phone companies have a good selection of bilingual models, which you can see by looking at the provider’s English website. These models can be set to an English language interface, and when they are set to English the default text input mode is roman characters – if you want to input kana/kanji you have to select from a menu. Non-bilingual models have only a Japanese interface, but you can still input roman characters by selecting from a menu.
Most of the cellphones here in Japan are now bilingual.Sure you can send text messages. The name of the cellphones companies here are
WillCom
Softbank ( before the name is Vodafone, but i think they are sister companies now.)
DocoMo
Au which is known as KDDI internationally.
I’m a filipina and I use Softbank and it’s bilingual.They also have pre-paid cellphones.
Japanese cel phones have over 5,000 buttons for all the kanji and kana. They’re the size of refridgerators, but they’re soooo kawaiiiii!
I’m getting a Hello Kitty one in pink.
No kanji but alphabet on the buttons there. So don’t worry. There is also an english mode there so that you can text in English as well.

A real Navy peacoat is heavy as hell too…
Hi… I don't know Sydney, but in the US, we often have leather care and repair at some dry cleaners shops. Also, some alterations/tailors have the capability to repair leather. Also, maybe a shoe repair shop, where they have tools to work with leather. Good luck.

this guy really bugs me for some reason… but I actually learned something too (which is a miracle, let me tell you). If I had the money I think I would actually buy that course.

Verizon FiOS owners can get a new FiOS Mobile Remote app for their Motorola Droid or HTC Imagio. The application displays regular remote buttons, but also shows icons of favorite channels. The FiOS application also allows you to display photos and slideshow from the photos on your mobile device to your television. When you [...]

I had heard that they would, apon reaching their homelands shores, send back a series of mornful moans by using a Conch Shell as an amplifier, so as to let theyre respective hosts know that they had arrived safely and rescue would not be necessary:
It's because Kyocera makes the worst phones period.
I suggest never buying a Kyocera. They get the most exchanges of any phone.
in tap water, water molecules will move in to the cell by osmosis, due to higher solute concentration inside cell. this will increase the cytoplasm volume, the cell membrane will not lyse as the cell wall prevents this, but the cell will become turgid, so the cell wall will not break but it will warp a bit.
in salt water, water molecules will move out of the cell by osmosis due to higher salt concentration outside the cell. the cytoplasm vol will decrease, the cell wall will maintain the cell's shape, but the cell membrane will be 'shriveled,' still attached to cell wall though. hmmmm
Don't text or call me. My phone is possessed and the buttons don't match the touch screen. #firstworldproblems

is it me or this guy reminds me of Brendan Fraser (the guy in The Mummy films)
This Pennsylvania gamer girl runs a William Control fan site and studies cannibalism. But not, y’know, the eating people part. Say om nom nom to Emmy Has a Gun! trixie360: What’s the story behind your gamertag? Emmy has a Gun: Honestly I have always had a love and fascination for guns. And one day while randomly out of the blue humming “Janie’s Got a Gun” by Aerosmith, I noticed that Janie could easily be replace by Emmy (my nickname). After changing “got a” to “has a”, the handle that has become my gamertag was born. It’s fun to have as it makes people start singing “Emmy’s got a gun” to the tune of Janie’s Got a Gun. trixie360: Where do you live? Emmy has a Gun: I live in what I like to refer to as the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania. And seriously, it is the middle of nowhere. We barely get cell service out here. trixie360: What do you do when you’re not playing games? Emmy has a Gun: I run a fan site for the musician William Control called Hate Culture…
OnLive’s aim is to replace the traditional console with a cloud based subscription service which can stream the latest games to your TV, laptop or even phone without you needing to buy any expensive hardware.
Eh. Well I know how to tweet with my phone, but now I'm on my laptop with the split screen xD and I'm scanning before I wipe
I've the iPhone 3G too and have yet to see a better phone. Despite the fact that some Nokia phones are said to have more features, I like the iPhone. It's really quite good.

There is no guarantee that when you are trying to shrink something that it's going to shrink the way you want it to. However if you want to go ahead….wash in hot water (buttons buttoned) and dry in a dryer on the highest setting. Remember though that the whole thing will shrink, usually, not just the length of the pants or not just the waist band. Also, depending on the article of clothing sometimes it will shrink "up" & not "in"…..so you are left with a t-shirt that would fit a square.
Better to have things altered if you want them to fit better but after they have been washed.
Most things WILL NOT shrink if washed in warm/cold water and hung to dry or dried with no heat. You can put them in the dryer after they are dried to soften them & get the wrinkles out.
Golden Feather pretty well summed up the question with his answer. The Megabass Ito Vision 110 jerkbait being the top of the artificial food chain. Let's not fail to mention Lucky Craft Live Pointer 110, the Sammy or Japan's No.1 lure maker and their ASURA O.S.P. Here is what they look like:
As for your idea being considered good, it is a fantastic idea and will be very well appreciated. They will be most pleased by your gift.
