Is it possible to buy a Japanese brand phone (e.g. Docomo) and use it outside of Japan?
I live in Australia and was wondering if it is possible to buy a Japanese phone (with an english menu) and use it within Australia?
What are the limitations?
And if it is possible, which brands work?

Yes it is.
Some Japanese handsets have GSM compatabilty for roaming, and also 3G/CDMA. You might find it hard to get hold of a compatible Japanese handset that is unlocked and they are usually quite expensive, however they do exist.
I have a Softbank 707SCII which works in the UK on the GSM/3G networks here (which I understand is the same system as Australia). Although by “works” I mean it can make/recieve calls and SMS but none of the other features of the phone will work such as MMS or email, those are locked to the Japanese networks. Usually Japanese handsets have Japanese, English, and Korean languages.
From my experience Softbank handsets are the most likely to work, if you can find them. You might want to try http://www.plemix.com, or try your luck on ebay.
I’m surprised it’s Seattle and not the Gorge.

Here’s another Apple Tablet rumor for you: Both AT&T and Verizon will carry the Tablet in the United States, subsidizing the up-front price of the device if you sign a contract to pay for their 3G data networks. We just recently saw some evidence that the device would come to Verizon, but Apple has an established relationship with AT&T, too, since its iPhone is exclusive to that carrier in the U.S. FOX News’ Clayton Morris says that he’s heard from insiders at both AT&T and Verizon that the Tablet will be carried on their networks. AT&T’s plan would likely be similar to the one we heard Verizon was thinking of offering — $200 off the up-front price (which is probably either $800 or $1,000) when you sign a $60 per month contract on its network. We haven’t even seen any strong evidence that the Tablet will run on a 3G network at all, of course, but if it doesn’t that will be very surprising. The idea is that you’ll be able to do more advanced computing and media tasks on the go than you…
All systems are fine apart from the Voip phones yet again, there's a little man here attempting to mend them, unsuccessfully.
Contrary to what "Aishi" contends, the Japanese soldiers were Japanese. Koreans were used in areas of lower echelon, like prison camp guards, guards on ships, and, labor, etc.
The Japanese acted "Demonic and inhumane" due to what they called "their illustrious heritage" They believe they were all decedents of the "Living Sun" or, the Emperor was their "Living God"
All others, especially those that opposed them we're under them and deserved nothing less then death and, to be alive, was an insult. They thought, it was against their own cardinal rule to just take a life but, in the action of living, it was justified.
They did treat their prisoners as themselves when it came to eating, they lived on a handful of rice and veggies, the Allies couldn't subsist of this food everyday and came down with disease like scurvy and, dysentery. The fewer prisoners that made it back to the camps after work details, the better. They were very cruel in a sence.
Near the end of the war, they started murdering the prisoners to cover their own butts. Very few were ever brought to trial.
Two of my very good friends were on the "Bataan death March" their stories are what Stephen King's horror stories are written about.
I don't think switching phones has a fee, changing your plan does. If you have had your phone over a year or two they sometimes have upgrades you can do for free or little. If not I think you can just tell them you want to buy a new phone and they will do it but you will need to pay activation and and the phone. Online I don't know if you can buy from ebay because I don't think verizon has sim cards that you can just put in the new phone, it needs to be programed.
No, the Japanese government would not have surrendered if they saw a demonstration of the A-bomb.
First, because Operation Matterhorn, the fire bombing of major and intermediate sized Japanese cities, caused more death and destruction than either at Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
Second, in hindsight (a post priori) the Japanese government did not surrender even after the dropping of the second A-Bomb. Only after Stalin promised to invade Japan with a million Mongolian Soviet troops did Japan capitulate.
The Japanese Imperial government never signed the Geneva convention, routinely violated human rights with their atrocities against prisoners and civilians, operated under the principles of Bushido, the code of the Samurai, and was prepared to fight to the death of every Japanese man, woman, and child.
So a demonstration of a new fangled weapon of mass destruction, after massive fire bombings incinerating hundreds of Japanese cities and towns, probably would not have deterred the Japanese Imperial Government.
what other social networks do you get on
They are big on peace it seems! who could blame them after Hiroshima
Go to http://www.verizonwireless.com and login click my phone then go to activate existing phone …both equipments must be off to process online…. the esn is located on the back of the phone you must remove the battery and look at the back of the phone. If you call customer service to do it there is the fee $20 per esn change and you will have to call for your home phone because it can not be change if you are on the equipment…you can get them to waive the fee just tell them you tried to do it and you recieved a message saying unable to complete please call cusotmer service 800-922-0204 …. the reason you won't be able to do it is because unless one on those phones are not on the network when you change the first one you will have 2 esn of the same # on the network and it won't process …customer servcie will have to do it a tenured rep wuld know that call them and get it waived and have them do it…. the only way you will be able to do it is to have 1 dummy esn #
Well considering there is no strong supporting evidence that cell phone radiation cause brain tumors/damage or any significant damage to other body parts; i would say you're fine. besides your pockets are on the sides or front of your pants, not directly ON your genitalia. Laptops pose a bigger threat to your sperm production due to the heat produced .
Yes.
That looks interristing.. Within a couple of years I belive you can go buy something like this in every game store.

Well how old is your computer? Older computers use PCI and AGP Cards, newer ones use PCI-E, please feel free to email me.
There is no exact answer for that due to the fact that they can't count everybody. But it's obvious that there's millions.

Holy fried bologna. It's chilly outside
I think we'll see more convergent devices, high powered PDA's for games and video, with large MP3-size storage capacity (10's of GB), several types of wireless, and cell phones built in (the much prophesized iPOD killer).
It is really hard to keep plants with Goldfish because Goldfish love to redecorate and eat plants. For this reason, you will want plants that attach to driftwood, or have thick, leathery leaves. Anubias use a rhizome to attach to driftwood or rock, and their leaves are highly distasteful (supposedly) with Goldfish. Java Fern and Java Moss also use rhizmoes to attach to rocks and driftwood, and have a foul taste as well, so those 3 plants are Goldfish-safe. Onion Plants are hit or miss with Goldfish. Some Goldfish dislodge them, others will not, but either way, they will not eat them.
Consider a natural pond look with natural pebbles, vertical and horizontal driftwood, and interesting rock formations. These features will make it appear more natural and attractive than brightly colored gravel will. Contact me if you have any questions.

There's degrees of reform. Something may be possible with presidential leadership, even if it's not the ideal.
lol
The sim from an i265 is too new for Nextel phones with a 2 digit model number( e.g. iXX). Nextel phones with a 3 digit model number( e.g. iXXX) should work with your sim card. Since Nextel is an iDEN carrier, only iDEN phones will work with it. You can use Boost Mobile and SouthernLINC phones as long as they are unlocked, but other than those, you are stuck with Nextel phones. GSM phones will not work on an iDEN network.
is das ernst gemeint ???;=)
