For example: SoftBank 932SH or 930SH
Would any of these phones work?

The phone must run on CDMA 850 / CDMA 1900 network. If it does and is unlocked, then it should work on Verizon.

It is impossible to have the LG enV2 from Verizon Wireless to work on a T-Mobile contract. Verizon does not have SIM cards (Security Information Management card, eg. your service card), yet T-Mobile does. You cannot use the enV2 for T-Mobile. If you really like the "flip open" so you can use a QWERTY keyboard, go with the T-Mobile Sidekick. If you don't mind slide, get the Samsung Gravity.
It all depends on what you want to do with your phone overall.
If you just want to text all the time and not really have very many voice minutes, I'd go with the Text Only Messaging Plan (if you're going to get a regular kind of phone) or the Smart Phone or Blackberry Text Only Messaging Plan. These both have a set amount per month for just texting and also have a fixed amount for using voice minutes. Respectively, each costs $34.99 and $54.99.
Why doesn’t Sirius get into this business, it’d be a lot more profitable than paying Howard Stern $500 million to ruin his career.

You need a router. If your laptop was getting Internet connection through your desktop, you were probably using Internet connection sharing. Routers are devices that share the Internet connection. It works much better with routers than piggy backing computers.
I know everybody likes to go wireless, but I highly recommend novice users stay away from it if you do not need to be 100% mobile. Check this video out:
A lot of people don't understand that you can do this. It is really easy to setup. There is no problems with interference from wireless phones or even a neighbor's wireless. You also do not have to worry about security issues. Newegg.com and Best Buy sells powerline.
robbievienna writes “I’m currently living in the Arabian desert. Typically, unless a building has been sealed against the elements, sand and dust get everywhere. I purchased a keyboard cover for one of my laptops, and noticed that there was more accumulation on the underside than the topside. I’ve had sand crunk up the guts of one laptop and one tablet (Nokia N810). My coworkers who are native to the region tend to trade out their technology every six to twelve months, but I don’t want to migrate data and adjust to new hardware that frequently. I was wondering what suggestions people have for working in this type of environment — both for laptops and for tablets. For reference, I work in a pseudo-secured zone where computers (phones, etc.) are not permitted to have cameras. A DVD drive would be nice, but is unnecessary. The more USB ports, the better. The last time the question was posted on Slashdot was five years ago, so I’m presuming that there are new industry leaders.” Read more…
