Are Japanese Cell Phones Really More Innovative Than Those Of Ec And The Us?

Some technically impressive functions are just not going to cross cultures. For example using a cell phone as a cash card is probably never going to catch on in the US do to concerns about privacy, identity theft, etc.

Hmm the only thing about Japanese cell phones that I find maybe to be convenient (depending on the person of course). Would be the banking or Suica option you can add to your phone (you can pay for items by tapping your cell).
I do like the video-chat, not really needed but i can see if you’re talking to someone far away that you can’t visit often, how that would be nice.
Other than those two features, I cant really think of anything else except for aesthetic positives.
Looking back 90’s, Japan’s cells were so innovative and the speed of the development were fast. The model change speed was fast, too. At that time, phones were made in Japan.
However, today’s phones are manufactured in Asia or SEA countries and the functions resemble.
I don’t need so much functions. However, even now, I prefer the beautiful and the widest LCD or OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screens of Japanese cell phones.
I think so. You can do pretty much anything with it, like banking and purchasing things is easier than using a plastic anymore. My brother was using it as the train pass. Instead of using computer at home, people are using cell phone to do everything. It’s pretty innovative to me.
